This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central, South
Central and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

A Very High Grassland Fire Danger is possible in parts of Butler
and Greenwood Counties Friday afternoon.

Late Friday Night/very early Saturday morning a powerful cold front
will surge across Kansas. Winds that are southwest from 10 to 20 mph
will become north/northwest and increase considerably to a sustained
25 to 35 mph with 40 to 45 mph gusts. Wind Advisories are likely for
all areas Saturday morning, especially Central and South-Central
Kansas. The strong winds would also cause a very high grassland fire
danger across primarily South-Central Kansas early Saturday morning
and for nearly all areas Saturday afternoon.

A Very High Grassland Fire Danger is possible in parts of Southeast
Kansas early Monday afternoon.
