This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms will spread east into Central Kansas late tonight.
Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible with both hail, perhaps
as large as golfballs, and 60 to 70 mph winds both resulting. A few
strong thunderstorms are possible for far Southeast Kansas late

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

There`s an enhanced risk for severe thunderstorms across part of
Southeast Kansas late Saturday Afternoon and Saturday Evening. Very
large hail, perhaps the size of tennis balls, 60 to 70 mph winds,
and a few tornadoes are all possible. Areas at greatest risk for
all 3 modes of severe weather would be along, and southeast, of a
line from around Iola, through Fredonia, to southwest of

Severe thunderstorms are also possible for the remainder of
Southeast Kansas as well as South-Central Kansas east of the Kansas
Turnpike late Saturday Afternoon and Saturday Evening with both
large hail and damaging winds.

Scattered strong thunderstorms are possible areawide for most
periods from Tuesday Afternoon thru Thursday Night.


Spotter activation is not anticipated today but may be needed
