THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS,
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

PATCHY FOG IS AFFECTING SOUTHEAST KANSAS EARLY THIS MORNING.
VISIBILITIES COULD DROP BELOW 1/4 OF A MILE IN LOCALIZED AREAS.
THIS FOG SHOULD BURN OFF BY MID MORNING.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE AREA
SUNDAY AFTERNOON. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO BE IN THE 25 TO 35 MPH
RANGE WITH HIGHER GUSTS. THESE HIGHER WINDS, COMBINED WITH THE
DRY GROUND WILL ALSO CAUSE A GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER INDEX OF VERY
HIGH FOR MUCH OF SUNDAY AFTERNOON. SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE ALSO
EXPECTED SUNDAY AFTERNOON WITH SOME ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. NO
HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AFTER MONDAY.
