This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central, South
Central and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

An Extreme Grassland Fire danger will exist across all areas from
around midday until early this evening. For further details, please
refer to the Red Flag Warning that is in effect from 11 AM until 7
PM CST.

Northwest winds will increase considerably later this morning.
Sustained speeds from 25 to 35 mph, with 40 to 45 mph gusts, are
likely across Central and South-Central Kansas. Driving will be
difficult, especially for those traveling in high-profile vehicles.
The northwest winds would gradually diminish early this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A Very High Grassland Fire danger is possible in Central Kansas
Wednesday Afternoon.
