This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Dense fog is likely in Russell, Barton, Lincoln and Ellsworth
counties this morning with visibilities below one quarter of a mile
in areas. A dense fog advisory is in effect for this area. See the
latest bulletin for details.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely across the region
with the stronger storms capable of producing small hail and winds
gusts up to 50 mph this morning. This afternoon, numerous
thunderstorms will develop, some of which will be severe, capable of
producing hail as large as ping pong balls and 60 to 70 mph winds.
The greatest threat for severe thunderstorms will shift southeast
late Saturday afternoon and should be confined to areas along, and
southeast, of the turnpike by early Saturday evening. The primary
severe threat late Saturday afternoon and evening would be damaging
60 to 70 mph winds and heavy rains.

After cold frontal passage, northwest winds will greatly increase,
especially west of I-135 where 30 to 40 mph sustained, with gusts
around 45 mph, are likely in the evening. A wind advisory is effect
for much of the region tonight. See the latest bulletin for

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
