This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Northwest winds gusting to around 45 mph will continue into the
afternoon hours today and a wind advisory remains in effect for all
of the area.

Strong winds and cold air will result in wind chill values of zero
to five below at times this afternoon. In addition, blowing and
drifting snow may result in reduced visibilities across portions of
central Kansas.

Wind chills of zero to ten below are expected late tonight across
much of the area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Sub-zero wind chills are expected periodically from Friday night
through early next week as frigid air remains in place across the
area. There will be a slight chance for light snow or flurries
across the area from Sunday into Monday, though little if any
accumulation is expected.


Spotter activation is not anticipated this afternoon or tonight.
