SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA TODAY
INTO TONIGHT. A STRONG STORM OR TWO WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING...WITH WIND GUSTS TO AROUND 50 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

PERIODIC CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN IN THE FORECAST
SATURDAY THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. WHILE ORGANIZED SEVERE WEATHER
IS NOT ANTICIPATED...A FEW STRONG STORMS WITH SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY
WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE.

HEAT INDICES WILL APPROACH 100 DEGREES DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...FOR THOSE COUNTIES CLOSE TO THE OKLAHOMA
BORDER.
