THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS...
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

LIGHT SNOW MAY DEVELOP ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTH
CENTRAL KANSAS LATE TONIGHT...MAINLY WEST OF I-135. LIGHT SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES BETWEEN ZERO AND 5 BELOW ARE POSSIBLE
EARLY SUNDAY MORNING OVER EAST CENTRAL KANSAS. THEN AGAIN ACROSS
THE WHOLE AREA SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING AS COLD ARCTIC AIR
INFILTRATES THE AREA.

THE CHANCE FOR SNOW WILL CONTINUE SUNDAY THROUGH THE DAY...WITH
THE BEST CHANCE FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW ACROSS AREAS WEST OF I-135
WILL BE BEFORE NOON. CHANCES WILL AGAIN PERSIST THROUGH MONDAY AS
ANOTHER SYSTEM MOVES SOUTH ACROSS OKLAHOMA AND MAY IMPACT SOUTHERN
KANSAS.

YET ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING A CHANCE OF SNOW AND ANOTHER
SURGE OF ARCTIC AIR TO THE AREA LATE WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
NEXT WEEK. THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY AND IT IS TO EARLY TO
DETERMINE SNOWFALL AMOUNTS...BUT THIS SYSTEM COULD IMPACT
TRAVEL...STAY TUNED TO LATER FORECASTS.

WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES BELOW ZERO WILL AGAIN IMPACT CENTRAL
KANSAS EARLY FRIDAY MORNING WITH THE SECONDARY ROUND OF ARCTIC
AIR.
