SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

HEAT INDICES OF AROUND 103 UP TO 110 DEGREES WILL PERSIST ACROSS
MUCH OF THE AREA THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING. PLEASE REFER TO THE
HEAT ADVISORY AND EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING STATEMENTS FOR MORE
DETAILS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

THE HEAT WAVE WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY...WITH THE HIGHEST
HEAT INDICES OF 105 TO 111 DEGREES EXPECTED DURING THE AFTERNOON
HOURS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES AROUND 105 ARE
POSSIBLE SATURDAY.

PERIODIC CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED SATURDAY NIGHT
THROUGH TUESDAY.
