THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS,
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS.
THIS AREA IS NORTH AND EAST OF A LINE FROM GREAT BEND TO KINGMAN
TO JUST EAST OF HARPER. ANY STORM THAT DEVELOPS COULD PRODUCE 70 MPH
WINDS AND GOLFBALL SIZED HAIL. STORMS THAT CAN REMAIN ISOLATED WILL
ALSO HAVE A THREAT OF A TORNADO. THE STORMS WOULD WEAKEN LATER THIS
EVENING...BUT STRONG STORMS WOULD BE POSSIBLE OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS
LATER THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT.

FLOOD WARNINGS HAVE BEEN POSTED FOR BOTH RIVER AND AREAL FLOODING.
CHECK THE LATEST FLOOD STATEMENTS FOR DETAILS. ADDITIONAL FLOODING
IS LIKELY IF THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

THE GREATEST THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS DURING THIS PERIOD IS
THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE HIGHEST CHANCE FOR HIGHER END
SEVERE STORMS WILL BE FOR LOCATIONS WEST OF I-135 AFTER 4 PM...WHERE
HAIL UP TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER AND TORNADOES WILL BE POSSIBLE.
AFTER 7 PM...SEVERE STORMS PRODUCING HAIL UP TO GOLF BALL SIZE ALONG
WITH DAMAGING DOWNBURST WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE REMAINING OF
THE AREA. WITH GROUNDS EXTREMELY SATURATED...FLOODING WILL BE LIKELY
WITH THE MORE INTENSE SHOWERS AND STORMS.

THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE REGION
FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND FRIDAY NIGHT WITH HAIL UP TO GOLFBALL-SIZED
AND 60 TO 70 MPH WINDS.

THERE REMAINS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS...PRIMARILY ACROSS
SOUTHEAST KANSAS SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT THAT MAY PRODUCE
SMALL HAIL AND 40 TO 50 MPH WINDS. THE GREATER THUNDERSTORM
POTENTIAL WOULD BE AREA WIDE FROM SUNDAY THRU TUESDAY. STRONG TO
SEVERE STORMS ARE ANTICIPATED.

GIVEN THE UNCERTAINTY THROUGHOUT THE PERIOD...PLEASE CHECK LATER
OUTLOOKS FOR UPDATED INFORMATION.
