This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Periods of showers and thunderstorms will impact the region from
late afternoon Tuesday through Thursday morning, as a slow-moving
storm system approaches from the west. While widespread organized
severe weather appears unlikely, a handful of strong to low-end
severe storms are possible Tuesday evening and night, and again
Wednesday afternoon and night, especially over southern and
southeast Kansas. Locally heavy rainfall and pockets of minor
flooding are also possible.

Another chance of showers with isolated thunderstorms could arrive
for the weekend into early next week, but strong or severe storms
are not expected at this time.


Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
