THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS,
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF STORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT
ROUGHLY EAST OF THE KANSAS TURNPIKE. A FEW OF THESE STORMS MAY
PRODUCE 50 MPH WINDS AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THERE WILL BE PERIODIC CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH THE END
OF THE WEEK. SOME STRONG STORMS WITH 50 MPH WINDS AND SMALL HAIL
ARE LIKELY...AND LOCALIZED FLOODING IS ALSO BE POSSIBLE. THE BEST
CHANCE FOR STORMS APPEARS TO BE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND WEDNESDAY
NIGHT. SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD BE SEVERE WITH DAMAGING WINDS
AND QUARTER SIZED HAIL.

HEAT INDICES MAY APPROACH 100 DEGREES ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY
AFTERNOON.
