Cloud cover gradually diminished towards the afternoon making way
for a plethora of sunshine. Much cooler air brought temperatures to
what many consider to be more pleasant with afternoon values in the
upper 70s to lower 80s for the Sunflower State. Variable winds had
speeds ranging from 5 to 15 mph.

This evening will be stellar as well for outdoor activities to
celebrate those father figures in your life across the Central
Plains. Winds will be light and variable. Overnight temperatures are
forecast to around 60 degrees except for western Nebraska which will
have lows in the lower 50s.

High pressure is going to remain to start the work week with another
day of highs in the 80s and little cloud cover. Variable winds are
anticipated to have speeds of 5 to 15 mph with the higher values
across Nebraska.
