DURING THE NIGHT...A FEW ISOLATED LIGHT SHOWERS DEVELOPED WEST OF I-135
THEN MOVED SOUTHEAST AROUND 25 MPH. TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOWER
50S IN PARTS OF EASTERN KANSAS TO THE MID 60S IN SOUTH-CENTRAL KANSAS AS
CLOUDS INCREASED FROM WEST TO EAST. WINDS WERE EASTERLY UP TO AROUND 10
MPH.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THAT HAVE BEEN OCCURRING ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS
AND THE PANHANDLES WILL SPREAD EAST ACROSS MOST THE REGION TODAY AND
TONIGHT. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE TEXAS PANHANDLE AND
IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT AREAS TODAY AND TONIGHT. TONIGHT THE RAINS WILL GET
QUITE HEAVY OVER SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH-CENTRAL KANSAS AND THE WESTERN HALF
OF OKLAHOMA WHERE A FLASH FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED.

MOST AREAS WILL BE VERY COOL TODAY WITH THE WESTERN PLAINS ONLY REACHING
THE UPPER 60S WITH LOWER AND MID 70S TICKETED FOR THE REMAINING AREAS.
LOWS TONIGHT SHOULD RANGE FROM 55 TO 60 DEGREES IN MOST AREAS AS A LIGHT
EASTERLY WIND PREVAILS.
