SOME HIGH CLOUDS KEPT TEMPERATURES FROM SOARING EVEN MORE THAN THE
UPPER 50S TO MID 60S REACHED IN THE EASTERN HALF OF KANSAS THIS
AFTERNOON. IN FACT...A RECORD HIGH WAS TIED IN WICHITA. WINDS WERE
PRIMARILY OUT OF THE WEST AT 5 TO 15 MPH.

A QUIET EVENING WILL BE AHEAD ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS AND LOWS
SHALL DROP TO AROUND 30 DEGREES OVERNIGHT. WINDS WILL STAY OUT OF
THE WEST FROM 5 TO 10 MPH.

THE START OF THE WORK WEEK WILL BE VERY NICE ACROSS THE SOUTHERN
CENTRAL PLAINS WHERE HIGHS WILL BE IN THE LOW TO MID 60S. NEBRASKA
IS FORECAST TO REACH THE MID 40S TO MID 50S. WESTERLY WINDS AT 5 TO
10 MPH WILL PREVAIL.
