Breezy southerly winds returned to western and central Kansas this
afternoon helping to drive temperatures into the low to mid 70s
across much of southwest Kansas while highs over far eastern Kansas
topped out in the low to mid 60s.

Breezy southerly winds will expand eastward across the state tonight
allowing minimum temperatures to remain more seasonable compared to
the previous night. Low temperatures are expected to range from the
upper 30s and lower 40s over northwest Kansas to near 50 along the
Oklahoma state line.

Southerly flow will allow temperatures to moderate again on Thursday
with highs climbing into the mid and upper 80s across southwest
Kansas. Meanwhile, much of northeast Kansas will see highs in the
low to mid 70s.
