CLOUDY AND MILD CONDITIONS PREVAILED ACROSS EASTERN KANSAS SATURDAY
AFTERNOON...WITH AREAS OF FOG AND DRIZZLE...MAINLY IN CENTRAL AND
SOUTHEAST KANSAS. LATE AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WERE RATHER
UNIFORM...IN THE MIDDLE 50S. WINDS WERE SOUTHERLY AT SPEEDS
AVERAGING 10 TO 20 MPH.

A STORM SYSTEM OVER THE SOUTHWESTERN STATES IS FORECAST TO PUSH
NORTHEASTWARD OVER THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN PLAINS ON SUNDAY.
SOUTHERLY WINDS AHEAD OF THIS APPROACHING SYSTEM...WILL CONTINUE TO
DRAW MOIST AND MILD AIR NORTHWARD INTO THE HEARTLAND TONIGHT INTO
SUNDAY. AREAS OF FOG AND DRIZZLE CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE REGION
TONIGHT...WITH VERY MILD TEMPERATURES MAINLY IN THE UPPER 40S TO
MIDDLE 50S.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL SPREAD NORTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE
KANSAS REGION ON SUNDAY. A FEW OF THE STORMS COULD CONTAIN SMALL
HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS MAINLY DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS.
OTHERWISE...GUSTY SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH WILL KEEP MILD
TEMPERATURES IN PLACE FOR MOST LOCALES...WITH HIGHS IN THE 50S TO
LOWER 60S.
