Isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms affected
portions of northwest Kansas overnight. Otherwise, the Kansas
region remained mostly clear and mild, with predawn temperatures
in the 70s to near 80 degrees.

Continued hot and mostly dry conditions will prevail for Tuesday.
Forecast high temperatures are in the 90s to near 100 degrees,
with afternoon heat indices ranging from 100 to 105 degrees.
Forecast low temperatures Tuesday night are in the 70s under
mostly clear skies.
