A FEW CLUSTERS OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AFFECTED NORTHEAST
KANSAS TODAY...NORTH OF A WARM FRONT SLOWLY MOVING NORTH ACROSS
CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS. THE STRONGEST ACTIVITY PRODUCED HAIL UP
TO GOLFBALL SIZE AND TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS. LATE AFTERNOON
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM 60S AND 70S NORTH OF THE FRONT OVER
NORTHEAST KANSAS...TO MID TO UPPER 90S SOUTH OF THE FRONT OVER
SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL KS. HEAT INDICES WERE AS HIGH AS THE LOW 100S
OVER FAR SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT ACROSS MAINLY
NEBRASKA..IOWA AND NORTHERN MISSOURI...AS THE WARM FRONT CONTINUES
TO LIFT NORTH. OTHERWISE...BREEZY...DRY AND MILD WEATHER WILL
PREVAIL REGIONWIDE. FORECAST LOW TEMPERATURES ARE IN THE 70S...WITH
60S ACROSS NEBRASKA AND IOWA.

ANOTHER HOT AND BREEZY DAY IS EXPECTED WEDNESDAY REGIONWIDE. MOST
AREAS WILL REMAIN DRY...ALTHOUGH A FEW AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS ARE
POSSIBLE OVER NORTHWEST KANSAS AND NEBRASKA...AS A FRONT APPROACHES
SLOWLY FROM THE NORTH. FORECAST HIGH TEMPERATURES ARE MOSTLY IN THE
90S...ALTHOUGH A FEW 100-DEGREE READINGS ARE POSSIBLE OVER CENTRAL
AND WESTERN KANSAS. HEAT INDICES WILL BE MOSTLY IN THE 90S...WITH
