Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Wichita KS
459 AM CST Wed Dec 6 2017

Clear skies and seasonably cool temperatures prevailed overnight
across Kansas. Early morning temperatures were mostly in the 20s
to around 30 degrees, with westerly winds averaging 5 to 10 mph.

Another surge of colder air will push southward through the
Central Plains from this afternoon into tonight. Ahead of the cold
surge, partly sunny skies and highs in the 40s to lower 50s are
forecast. Northwesterly winds will increase to 15 to 25 mph and
gusty this afternoon, before slackening some tonight. Flurries or
a bit of light snow could accompany the cold intrusion in
Nebraska and far northern Kansas, with dry weather elsewhere. It
will be chilly tonight with lows in the teens to lower 20s.
