Tranquil weather prevailed across the Kansas region overnight.
Under dense mid and upper level clouds, predawn temperatures
across the eastern half of Kansas were in the 30s and 40s.

Areas of light snow will affect far northern portions of Nebraska
today, as a storm system spins across the Northern Plains. Light
accumulations are likely. Otherwise, breezy, dry and cooler
weather will settle southeast across the region today behind a
weak cool front. Northwest winds will be strongest over western
Kansas and Nebraska. Forecast high temperatures range from 30s
over portions of Nebraska, to 60s over southern Missouri and
eastern Oklahoma.

Areas of light snow and flurries will continue over far northern
portions of Nebraska and Iowa tonight, with additional light
accumulations. Otherwise, chilly, breezy and dry weather will
prevail regionwide, with forecast low temperatures mostly in the
20s and 30s.
