Clouds exited Southeast Kansas during the night, leaving clear
skies over the state. Predawn temperatures ranged from the mid 20s
in protected areas of Central Kansas, to the mid 30s near the
Oklahoma border.  Winds were west to northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

High pressure will drift southeast, as low pressure develops
across the Central and Northern Plains. This will result in dry
and warmer weather for the region.

Forecast highs range from the 30s over parts of Iowa, to the lower
60s in the western sections of Nebraska and Kansas. Forecast lows
are mostly in the 30s, with a few scattered locations falling into
the 20s.
