A large storm system continued to move away from the area with only
a few lingering showers impacting portions of Northern Kansas early
this morning. A cold front bisected Eastern Kansas with temperatures
ahead of the front remaining in the 60s. Low temperatures in the
wake of the front ranged from the mid and upper 30s across much of
Western Kansas to the 40s and 50s in Central Kansas.

Clouds will begin to dissipate during the afternoon hours with
unseasonably cool temperatures anticipated across much of the state.
Afternoon highs will range from the lower 50s over North Central
Kansas to near 70 in extreme Southeast Kansas.

An area of high pressure will settle across the area overnight with
mostly clear conditions and light winds. This will allow
temperatures to fall below normal ranging from the upper 30s across
North Central Kansas to the mid 40s near the Oklahoma state line.
