SCATTERED STORMS DEVELOPED OVER EASTERN KANSAS AFTER MIDNIGHT
WITH THIS ACTIVITY MOVING INTO MISSOURI A COUPLE HOURS PRIOR TO
SUNRISE. THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA SAW SCATTERED LOW CLOUDS AND MILD
TEMPERATURES. EARLY MORNING READINGS RANGED FROM THE MID 50S OVER
NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS...TO THE UPPER 60S OVER THE SOUTHEAST PORTION
OF THE SUNFLOWER STATE.

MORNING SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO AFFECT WESTERN AND
SOUTHERN MISSOURI ALONG WITH EXTREME EASTERN KANSAS. THE MAJORITY OF
THE SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL BE OUT OF THE AREA BY THE AFTERNOON
HOURS. A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL SLOWLY MOVE THROUGH THE CENTRAL PLAINS
TODAY AND WILL PROVIDE A WIDE RANGE IN TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE
PLAINS. LOOK FOR HIGHS TO RANGE FROM THE 70S OVER IOWA AND EASTERN
NEBRASKA...TO THE 90S OVER THE WESTERN HALF OF KANSAS ALONG WITH
OKLAHOMA.

A FEW STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT FROM SOUTHERN NEBRASKA THROUGH
THE EASTERN HALF OF KANSAS ALONG WITH SOUTHERN MISSOURI AS MID LEVEL
MOISTURE SURGES NORTH. LOOK FOR OVERNIGHT LOWS TO RANGE FROM THE 50S
OVER WESTERN NEBRASKA AND EXTREME NORTHWEST KANSAS...TO THE UPPER
60S OVER OKLAHOMA.
