THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

OUTLOOK: LIGHT FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS CENTRAL
INDIANA. THIS COULD ALSO BRIEFLY MIX WITH SLEET.

HAZARDS: SLICK ROADS AND OUTDOOR SURFACES FROM ICE ACCUMULATION.

TIMING: STARTING AFTER 7 PM IN THE SOUTHERN COUNTIES AND WORKING
NORTH FROM THERE.

DISCUSSION: FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS CENTRAL
INDIANA THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE OVERNIGHT. THIS WILL RESULT IN
SLIPPERY SURFACES. EXERCISE CAUTION WHEN VENTURING OUTDOORS
TONIGHT ON FOOT OR IN A VEHICLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

OUTLOOK: FREEZING RAIN IS POSSIBLE AT TIMES ON SATURDAY
MORNING... AND IN THE SOUTHERN COUNTIES SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY
MORNING. IN THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN COUNTIES SATURDAY NIGHT WILL
BE DRY BUT SUNDAY MORNING COULD SEE LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND
CHANCES RETURN SUNDAY NIGHT. TOTAL ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL AVERAGE
FROM A LIGHT GLAZE UP TO TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH. THE MAIN IMPACT
FROM THIS SHOULD BE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS FROM SLICK ICE
COVERED ROADS.

DISCUSSION: A COLD FRONT STALLED WELL SOUTH OF THE OHIO RIVER
THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND A SHALLOW LAYER OF COLD AIR WILL BECOME
ENTRENCHED ACROSS INDIANA AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVES EAST ACROSS THE
GREAT LAKES.

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS MONDAY AND
THIS WILL PULL THE FRONTAL SYSTEM BACK TO THE NORTH ALLOWING
MILDER AIR TO SPREAD BACK INTO OUR REGION.
