.OVERVIEW...Severe thunderstorms developed along a line in northwest
Sheridan County and moved southeast. As the storms moved southeast
a tornado touched down 5 miles west northwest of Gordon and moved
south southeast before dissipating 5 miles west of Gordon. The tornado
produced damage to three tree wind breaks to include several tree
trunks snapped with tree limb debris for nearly a mile. The tornado
was rated an EF-1 on the Enhanced Fugita Scale.

SURVEY_SUMMARY: The tornado touched down in an open field and moved
south that produced damage to three tree wind break rows, destroyed
75 yards of fencing and removed shingles from the roof of a double
wide mobile home. Several tree trunks were snapped with the limb
debris carried southeast. Law enforcement observed the tornado briefly
lift before hitting the second tree wind break line then continued
on the ground crossing the 250 Trail Road before roping out and
dissipating in an open field.
