Weather Summary for Western and North Central New York
National Weather Service Buffalo NY
200 PM EDT Wed Oct 19 2016

Our fabulous stretch of weather is about to come to an end as clear
skies tonight begin to fill with clouds, these ahead of a large
storm system that will spread moderate to heavy rain across the
region. Expect rain to reach the Southern Tier just before daybreak
tomorrow morning, with rain then expanding northward across western
and central New York through the day. Air temperatures near normal
at the start of the event, will drop into the 40s and upper 30s by
the start of the weekend, with possible wet snow mixed in across the
higher terrain Friday night and Saturday as the storm system pulls
away from the region.
