An area of high pressure will cross the region this weekend bringing
cooler, albeit near normal temperatures, while also providing for
fair weather. There will be limited lake effect snow southeast and
then south of Lake Ontario today and into the evening hours, and
then later on Saturday there may also be a little light snow
crossing the Southern Tier. This colder airmass will remain over the
Eastern Great Lakes region through the weekend before temperatures
rise to well above normal again by early next week.
