...TORRENTIAL RAINS SPREADING INLAND FROM THE COAST...

WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IMPACTING THE COASTAL WATERS
OFF THE CHARLESTON COUNTY COAST ARE SLOWLY SPREADING INLAND EARLY
THIS MORNING. THERE WILL BE A RISK FOR HEAVY RAIN AND FLOODING
THROUGH 4 AM...ESPECIALLY FOR AREAS EAST OF HIGHWAY 17 AND AROUND
THE CHARLESTON HARBOR. THIS INCLUDES DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON. AS MUCH
AS 2 INCHES OF RAIN COULD FALL DURING A SHORT PERIOD. FLOOD
ADVISORIES OR FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS MAY BECOME NECESSARY.
