This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

A few strong to severe storms are possible today and tonight. The
main threat will be from damaging wind gusts over 60 MPH, although
large hail over an inch in diameter is also possible. Heavy rain and
urban and small stream flooding will be possible later this evening
as a slow moving cold front moves into the area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Strong storms will remain a possibility on Tuesday with damaging
winds the most likely threat. In addition heavy rainfall could cause
some flooding of urban areas and small streams across central NC.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
