NATRONA COUNTY LOWER ELEVATIONS-CASPER MOUNTAIN-
INCLUDING THE CITIES OF...JEFFREY CITY...CASPER

...STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS CONTINUE ACROSS THE AREA THIS MORNING...

STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS AHEAD OF A PACIFIC LOW PRESSURE TROUGH
WILL CONTINUE ACROSS SOUTHERN FREMONT AND NATRONA COUNTIES
THIS MORNING. WINDS 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS 45 TO 55 MPH ARE
EXPECTED. ALONG THE EAST SLOPES OF THE GREEN...GRANITE... AND
RATTLESNAKE MOUNTAINS AS WELL AS CASPER MOUNTAIN CAN EXPECT A FEW LOCAL
GUSTS AS HIGH AS 65 MPH. A COLD FRONT WILL PASS THROUGH THE AREA
LATER THIS MORNING WITH A WIND SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST AND A
DECREASE IN WIND SPEEDS.

STRONG GUSTY CROSS WINDS WILL MAKE TRAVEL WITH LIGHT WEIGHT AND
HIGH PROFILE TRAILERS DIFFICULT DUE TO THE BLOW OVER POTENTIAL.
CHECK WITH THE WYOMING DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AT 5 1 1 FOR
POSSIBLE TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS FOR LIGHT WEIGHT AND HIGH PROFILE
TRAILERS.
