...LIGHT SNOW AND GUSTY WIND EXPECTED FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
WYOMING THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT...

A WEATHER SYSTEM MOVING THROUGH THE AREA TODAY THROUGH TONIGHT
WILL RESULT IN SOME OCCASIONAL LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS. LIGHT
ACCUMULATIONS WILL OCCUR TODAY WITH A RAIN AND SNOW MIX POSSIBLE
FOR A FEW HOURS THIS AFTERNOON. THIS WILL CHANGE BACK TO ALL SNOW
AND INCREASE ACROSS THE AREA THIS EVENING. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS
ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE AREA BY SUNDAY MORNING WILL RANGE IN SOME
LOCATIONS FROM 1 TO 3 INCHES. A BRISK WEST TO SOUTHWEST WIND WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH THE PERIOD WITH SPEEDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS
OF 30 TO 40 MPH OCCURRING AT TIMES ACROSS EASTERN PORTIONS OF
SWEETWATER COUNTY. THIS WILL CAUSE SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW
IN SOME AREAS AND LOW VISIBILITY AND WILL IMPACT TRAVEL ON
INTERSTATE 80 AND OTHER STATE HIGHWAYS.
