LATE AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE MID 50S OVER NORTH
CENTRAL KANSAS...TO THE LOW 40S OVER EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE STATE.
SOUTHWEST WINDS IN THE 10 TO 20 MPH RANGE ACCOMPANIED THESE BELOW
NORMAL READINGS.

HIGH PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO BE IN PLACE ACROSS THE PLAINS FOR
TONIGHT WITH ANOTHER SURGE OF COLD AIR FORECAST TO SURGE SOUTH
ACROSS THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI VALLEY ON WEDNESDAY.
MEANWHILE...WARMING TEMPERATURES ARE ANTICIPATED OVER THE WESTERN
HALF OF KANSAS AND MOST OF OKLAHOMA.

OVERNIGHT LOWS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM THE TEENS OVER MOST OF
NEBRASKA TO THE UPPER 20S OVER OKLAHOMA AND SOUTHERN MISSOURI. HIGHS
ON WEDNESDAY ARE FORECAST TO RANGE FROM THE 20S OVER IOWA AND
EASTERN NEBRASKA...TO AROUND 50 OVER WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND FAR
SOUTHWEST KANSAS.
