Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Wichita KS
502 PM CST Wed Feb 14 2018

Mild and mostly sunny weather prevailed across the Kansas region
today. Temperatures were 20 to 30 degrees warmer than normal, with
late afternoon readings in the 60s and 70s.

Increasing southerly flow will support continued mild weather
overnight, especially across the southeast half of Kansas,
southern Missouri and Oklahoma, where forecast low temperatures
are only in the 50s. Clouds will be on the increase, with
increasing chances of light drizzle across extreme eastern Kansas
and Missouri.

Another mild and breezy day will impact the region Thursday, with
near record high temperatures in the 70s to near 80 degrees
across southern Kansas and Oklahoma. However, a strong cold front
will approach from the north, supporting much colder temperatures
arriving across Nebraska and northern Kansas late in the day.
