Partly cloudy skies and below normal temperatures were in place
across central and eastern Kansas today. Afternoon temperatures
were generally in the 65 to 70 degree range. Normals highs for
this time of year are in the mid and upper 70s.

Surface high pressure is expected to remain over the Mississippi
Valley into the Plains tonight. This will keep rain chances out
of the forecast for tonight. A weak upper disturbance is expected
to track across northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas on Thursday.
This feature may bring showers to much of Oklahoma and southern
Kansas along with southern Missouri. Strong or severe storms are
not expected with this activity.

Look for overnight lows to range from the low 40s over western
Nebraska to the low 50s over eastern Oklahoma. Highs on Thursday
are expected to generally be in the 65 to 70 degree range area
