VERY COLD AND TRANQUIL WEATHER CONDITIONS PREVAILED ACROSS CENTRAL
AND EASTERN KANSAS LAST NIGHT. PREDAWN TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE
SINGLE DIGITS WITH CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT SOUTHWEST WINDS.

CANADIAN SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO DOMINATE OVER THE
REGION TODAY...AND DRIFT SLOWLY EASTWARD WITH SOUTHWEST WINDS AND
CLEAR SKIES. DAYTIME HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM THE 40S AND 50S OVER
WESTERN SECTIONS OF KANSAS AND NEBRASKA...TO THE COLDER 20S AND 30S
ACROSS IOWA AND MISSOURI.

A WEAK SURFACE TROUGH WILL SLIDE EASTWARD ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS
TONIGHT...WITH SURFACE WINDS SWITCHING TO THE WEST AND NORTHWEST.
OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE IN THE TEENS AND 20S OVER MID AMERICA.
