SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
LATE TONIGHT ACROSS PARTS OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA...WEST CENTRAL AND
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED WITH OVERNIGHT
ACTIVITY THAT DEVELOPS.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL...HIGH WIND POTENTIAL...
HEAVY RAIN POTENTIAL.
MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
SEVERE WEATHER CHANCES...ALONG WITH HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLASH FLOOD
POTENTIAL...WILL BE ON THE INCREASE LATE SATURDAY AND INTO SUNDAY
AS AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM MOVES NORTHEAST INTO THE CENTRAL
PLAINS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY DEVELOP WELL TO OUR WEST
ALONG THE DRYLINE SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND PROGRESS EAST ACROSS
EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS SATURDAY NIGHT.

TORNADOES...LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WILL ALL BE POSSIBLE
WITH THESE STORMS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL MAY ALSO RESULT IN BOTH
FLASH FLOODING AND MAINSTEM RIVER FLOODING. STORM CHANCES WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY...ESPECIALLY ACROSS SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND
WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS.


EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLANNING STATEMENT...
FLASH FLOOD AND RIVER FLOOD POTENTIAL...AS WELL AS SEVERE WEATHER
POTENTIAL INCREASES THIS WEEKEND. AT THIS TIME...IT APPEARS THE
GREATER CHANCES WILL BE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY. EVENT
COORDINATORS SHOULD CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS GIVEN
THE POTENTIAL WEATHER IMPACTS ON THE MANY OUTDOOR WEEKEND
FESTIVITIES.
