Fire Weather Planning Forecast
for Northeast South Carolina and Southeast North Carolina
National Weather Service Wilmington NC
341 AM EDT Fri Apr 20 2018

.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures will run 5 to 10 degrees below normal today thru
Sunday as Canadian high pressure ridges across the area from
the Great Lakes. Critically low relative humidity values are
expected Friday and Saturday, but wind speeds will remain docile
when compared to the past few days. The high will give way to
low pressure moving out from the Gulf Coast states late Sunday.
The low accompanied by beneficial stratiform rains will slowly
push across the region Monday thru Tuesday of next week, and
could persist into Wednesday of next week.

This afternoon`s minimum relative humidity will drop to 25 to
30 percent. The minimum relative humidity Sat afternoon will
drop to around 30 percent.

Wind profile analysis/fire control over flat terrain is Favorable.

Fog potential for tonight...None.
