RECEIVED NEAR NORMAL PRECIPITATION...

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS 33.3 DEGREES, WHICH WAS
10.8 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 42.6
DEGREES AND THE AVERAGE LOW WAS 23.9 DEGREES. THE HIGHEST
TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS 65 DEGREES ON THE 19TH AND THE
COLDEST TEMPERATURE WAS 7 DEGREES WHICH OCCURRED ON THE 9TH.

A TOTAL OF 1.17 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION FELL DURING THE MONTH.
THIS WAS TWELVE HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH ABOVE NORMAL. THE GREATEST 24
HOUR PRECIPITATION WAS FIFTY FIVE HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH WHICH
OCCURRED ON THE 20TH.

A TOTAL OF 3.9 INCHES OF SNOW FELL IN THE MONTH. THE GREATEST 24
HOUR SNOWFALL WAS 3.4 INCHES WHICH OCCURRED ON THE 24TH.

RECORD DAILY HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 62 DEGREES PREVIOUSLY SET IN 1984.

LA CROSSE WAS WARMER THAN NORMAL IN THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY. THE
WARMEST STRETCH OCCURRED FROM THE 10TH THROUGH THE 24TH...WHERE
THE AVERAGE DAILY TEMPERATURE RANGED FROM 2 TO 28 DEGREES ABOVE
NORMAL. THERE WERE 5 DAYS WHERE THE AVERAGE DAILY TEMPERATURE WAS
BELOW NORMAL. THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY WAS THE 5TH WARMEST ON RECORD.
THERE WERE 5 DAYS WHERE THE AVERAGE DAILY TEMPERATURE WAS AT OR
BELOW 32 DEGREES.

DURING THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY...PRECIPITATION WAS NEAR NORMAL. THE
DRIEST PERIOD DURING THE MONTH OCCURRED FROM THE 1ST THROUGH THE
