Smoke dispersal will be Excellent for the entirety of the forecast area for several hours this afternoon. LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday through Saturday... Wednesday will be cool with scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms. This will keep fire weather conditions on the lower side. A warming and drying trend will begin Thursday and last through the weekend. On Friday and Saturday, relative humidity will drop to the mid teens across the plains. Neither day will be particularly windy but gusts will be around 20-25 mph so there will be areas of elevated fire weather conditions each day. Smoke dispersal will be good most days across all areas. ...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds... ...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds... ...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid... ...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone groups and may not match the actual forecast values shown in those groups...
