This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Snow, and possibly some freezing rain or drizzle, is expected to
move from west to east across the Northland tonight. The greatest
snow accumulation is expected in the Minnesota Arrowhead, and
eastern portions of northwest Wisconsin. New snow should range
from around an inch in the Brainerd Lakes region, to 3 to 6 inches
in the Arrowhead. The rest of the Northland will see snowfall
amounts fall somewhere in between. A Winter Weather Advisory has
been issued for the Minnesota Arrowhead for tonight and Wednesday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

The snow will continue across the region on Wednesday. Total snow
accumulation will range from 3 to 6 inches in the Arrowhead to
around an inch in the Brainerd area. The Winter Weather Advisory
for the Arrowhead will be in effect through 4 PM Wednesday.

Lake effect snow will linger across the south shore Wednesday night
producing an additional 1 to 2 inches of snowfall, especially across
the Gogebic Range in northern Iron and Ashland counties.


Snow spotters are requested to report their snowfall measurements
to the National Weather Service.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Nearshore
waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Increasing easterly to northeasterly winds on Wednesday may result
in building waves and hazardous conditions for small craft along the
nearshore waters of the north shore.
