...LIGHT MIXED PRECIPITATION DEVELOPING THIS AFTERNOON...

Area radars show an expanding region of light snow possibly with
mixed precipitation over the southeast third of the state this
afternoon which includes part of east central Wisconsin. A mix is
expected over southern Wisconsin while mainly snow is expected for
east central Wisconsin.  An inch or two of snow accumulation is
possible through early evening. The snow may be mixed with sleet
and freezing rain at times over areas south of a line form Oshkosh
to Manitowoc.

Motorists should be aware this mixed precipitation is arriving
during the late afternoon and early evening commute. Commuters
are urged to use extra caution for the trip home this evening.

...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL WILL LINGER THIS AFTERNOON...

A fast moving upper disturbance which produced several inches of
snow across northern Wisconsin will continue to depart the region
this afternoon. Even though the snow is diminishing...untreated
roads will remain slippery. Motorists are urged to use caution
during the afternoon and evening commute.
