This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Dangerously cold wind chills will persist through the mid morning
hours with wind chills ranging from 25 to 40 below across the
Northland. At these values frostbite is possible on exposed skin
in as little as 10 minutes.

Tonight wind chills will fall to 25 to 35 below zero which could
cause frostbite to develop on exposed skin in as little as 30

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A quick-moving clipper will produce a round of snow Sunday into
Sunday night with a quick 1 to 3 inches possible for most of the

Lake effect snow will linger along the south shore through Monday
leading to an additional 1 to 3 inches of snowfall, with locally
higher amounts possible.

Wind chill headlines may be needed Monday and Tuesday morning.


Snow spotters are requested to report their snowfall measurements
to the National Weather Service.

waters of western Lake Superior.
