This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Thunderstorms will move out of the outlook area by mid day.
Severe weather is not anticipated.

Patchy fog in north central Kansas will reduce visibility to less
than a mile for a couple hours this morning, mainly along and west
of Highway 281.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday afternoon, near critical fire weather conditions are
possible for areas west of a line from Lexington, Nebraska, to
Beloit, Kansas.

Friday through Sunday, thunderstorm chances return to the entire
outlook area. At this point, it is too early to pin down
specifics regarding any severe weather potential.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
