CENTRAL NEBRASKA GENERALLY NORTHEAST OF A LINE FROM LOUP CITY...TO
GRAND ISLAND...TO HEBRON.

.DAY ONE...LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

THROUGH LATE THIS AFTERNOON...THERE REMAINS A SMALL CHANCE FOR A
FEW NON-SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITHIN THE AREA...BUT ANY
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO END BY EARLY EVENING.

IN ADDITION...A FLOOD WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHEASTERN THAYER
COUNTY. PLEASE REFER TO THE FLOOD WARNING STATEMENT FOR FURTHER
DETAILS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

AT LEAST SMALL THUNDERSTORM CHANCES RETURN TO THE OUTLOOK AREA
DURING THE SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT TIME FRAME...WITH THE
OVERALL-BEST CHANCES CURRENTLY CENTERED ON MONDAY NIGHT. RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF AT LEAST 1 INCH ARE CERTAINLY POSSIBLE DURING THIS
TIME...WHICH COULD LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING ISSUES.

FOCUSING ON SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT...THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOST
FAVORED DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING...BUT THE COVERAGE OF
THEM IS NOT EXPECTED TO BE VERY WIDESPREAD. ALTHOUGH SEVERE
STORMS ARE NOT CURRENTLY EXPECTED...A FEW STRONG STORMS WITH
SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS ARE CERTAINLY POSSIBLE.

ON MONDAY...MEMORIAL DAY...THUNDERSTORMS WILL AGAIN BE MOST
FAVORED DURING THE AFTERNOON AND ESPECIALLY THE EVENING INTO
OVERNIGHT HOURS. THERE IS CURRENTLY A MARGINAL RISK THAT SOME OF
THESE STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE...WITH THE MAIN THREATS BEING
HAIL UP TO AROUND PING PONG BALL SIZE...AND WIND GUSTS TO AROUND
60 MPH.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS COULD CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY AS WELL...BUT IT
IS TOO EARLY TO CONFIDENTLY ASSESS THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE
STORMS.
