THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS,
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP OVER WESTERN KANSAS AND
NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA EARLY THIS EVENING. SOME OF THIS STORM ACTIVITY
MAY MOVE EASTWARD INTO PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL
KANSAS...ESPECIALLY FROM MID EVENING ONWARD. A FEW STORMS MAY BE
SEVERE TO THE SOUTHWEST OF A LINE...FROM RUSSELL TO
HUTCHINSON...TO WELLINGTON. THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE LARGE HAIL UP
TO GOLF BALL SIZE AND WIND GUSTS OF 60 TO 70 MPH. A FEW STRONG
STORMS WITH NICKEL SIZE HAIL AND WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH MAY OCCUR
LATE TONIGHT ELSEWHERE IN CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS. LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE WITH ANY STORMS TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

THUNDERSTORMS MAY LINGER ACROSS PORTIONS OF EASTERN KANSAS INTO
MIDDAY TUESDAY. THE MAIN THREATS FROM THESE STORMS WILL BE LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL AND LOCALIZED FLOODING. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY. A
FEW OF THE STORMS MAY BE SEVERE TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING
ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS. THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE
LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. THERE MAY ALSO BE A TORNADO OR TWO
MAINLY ALONG AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 14.

THE NEXT CHANCE OF ORGANIZED SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE LATE THURSDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY...AS A WEATHER SYSTEM MOVES THROUGH THE REGION WITH
STRONG INSTABILITY. SLIGHT CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL LINGER
OVER MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. PLEASE MONITOR LATER OUTLOOKS AS
DETAILS AND STORM THREATS BECOME MORE CLEAR.
