This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Outlook: Gusty southwest winds through this evening. A few
thunderstorms are possible tonight.

Hazard: Peak wind gusts to 40 mph. Lightning...brief heavy rainfall
and gusty winds with thunderstorms.

Timing: Strongest wind gusts from mid morning through early evening.
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms possible after 8 pm.

Discussion: Warm and dry weather will continue today with windy
conditions. The approach of a frontal boundary tonight will bring a
few showers and thunderstorms into central Indiana.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Outlook: Scattered thunderstorms are expected at times through
Sunday evening. It is too early to determine if these storms will be
severe...but lightning and brief heavy rainfall will be threats from
any thunderstorm.

Discussion: Chances for showers and thunderstorms are possible
through the weekend with the greatest threats coming Saturday and
Sunday as a frontal boundary oscillates over the Ohio Valley. The
arrival of low pressure into the Great Lakes will bring the next
chance for showers and thunderstorms beginning late Tuesday and
continuing into the middle of next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated.
