...Winter Weather Advisory Tonight through Thursday...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.
A strong storm system will move through the area today into
Thursday. Rain will transition to snow late Wednesday afternoon
with strong northwest winds creating hazardous travel conditions
due to blowing snow and slick roads. Rapidly falling temperatures
will cause wet roadways to freeze. Wind chill values are also
expected to drop near negative 15 across northern Nebraska by
Thursday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.
Snow is expected to impact north central Nebraska on Friday. Snow
accumulations will be confined mainly to locations north of
Highway 2 and totals will range from 1-2 inches.

Spotters are asked to call in with snow reports tonight and
Thursday.
