.OVERVIEW...Thunderstorms developed across parts of southwest
and north central Nebraska and moved northeast. Several storms
intensified as they moved northeast. Some of the severe
thunderstorms produced hail up to the size of golf balls and wind
speeds of 60 mph. Across Logan County a brief tornado occurred
North Northwest of Stapleton. This tornado was rated an EF0 on the
Enhanced Fujita Scale.
