Weather Summary for Western and North Central New York
National Weather Service Buffalo NY
419 PM EDT Wed Aug 9 2017

High pressure will keep mainly fair weather across the region this
evening, while a weak frontal boundary approaching the North
Country may help spark an isolated shower or thunderstorm. An
approaching low pressure system will bring warmer weather ahead of
it Thursday with an isolated shower across western NY by late
afternoon. More widespread showers and thunderstorms are then
expected Friday and through the weekend. Temperatures will average
close to normal, with highs from the mid 70s to lower 80s through
the remainder of the week.
