Brisk southwest winds will continue this afternoon. Winds will
blow at 20 to 30 mph across the area with gusts of 35 to 45 mph.
A few areas, including Outer Drive just south of Casper, could
see gusts reaching to 50 mph of higher. Please take proper
precautions with respect to the crosswinds if driving a high
profile lightweight vehicle.

...Elevated Fire Conditions This Afternoon...

Elevated fire weather conditions can be expected for portions of
southern Wyoming through 6 pm as winds continue out of the
southwest 15 to 25 mph with occasional gusts 30 to 45 mph while
relative humidity drops into the mid and upper teens. Residents,
travellers, and campers are encouraged to take strong caution if
considering any type of burning activities. Please follow local
burning rules.
