.DISCUSSION...
Drier air will remain in place today before more moisture and
rain moves into the area tonight into tomorrow. Southerly 20 foot
winds between 5 and 10 mph and transport winds around 20 mph are
expected. Mixing heights are not expected to climb above 2000 feet
this afternoon east of the I-65 corridor, but should further west.
Afternoon relative humidity values will still only drop to around
40 percent today.
A wet and cloudy Saturday is expected. 20 foot winds will turn to
the NW around 5 mph with transport winds from the NW around 15
mph. Mixing heights are not expected to climb above 2000 feet in
the afternoon east of the I-65 corridor, but should further west
just barely. Afternoon relative humidity values will not drop
below 70%.
Fog potential over the next few days: Some patchy freezing fog is
possible overnight, especially near bodies of water.
Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None are expected due to high
afternoon relative humidity values.
