...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN GARFIELD COUNTY
THROUGH 730 PM MDT...

At 641 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
New Castle, or 12 miles west of Glenwood Springs, moving northeast at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Glenwood Springs, New Castle, Silt, and Shoshone.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 98 and 130.
 Colorado 82 between mile markers 1 and 8.
