...LINE OF STORMS FORMING TO THE WEST...

LATE THIS AFTERNOON...A BROKEN LINE OF STRONG TO SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS HAD FORMED ACROSS WESTERN IOWA AND INTO PARTS OF
CENTRAL MINNESOTA. THIS LINE COULD GROW IN SIZE AND STRENGTH OVER
THE NEXT HOUR OR SO.

THESE STORMS WILL MOVE THROUGH THE INTERSTATE 35 AREA IN MINNESOTA
AND IOWA BETWEEN 6-7PM...AND THEN CONTINUE TO PROGRESS EAST THIS
EVENING. THE RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER IS HIGHER TO THE WEST...BUT A
FEW STORMS COULD BE BRIEFLY SEVERE IN THE AREA AROUND MID EVENING
WITH A DAMAGING WIND THREAT.

A WATCH COULD BE ISSUED SOON...AND A FEW WARNINGS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.
