GREATEST 24-HOUR AMOUNT WAS 1.53 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION THAT
FELL FROM THE 27TH TO 28TH.

IN THE AREA ON THE 28TH...AND A LIGHT ACCUMULATION WAS SEEN ON THE
RIDGE TOPS.

...RECORDS...

NONE.

...DISCUSSION...

THE FIRST WEEK STARTED OUT ON THE COOL SIDE...BUT MOST OF THE
REMAINDER OF THE MONTH SAW ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES. THERE WERE A
COUPLE OF STRETCHES WHERE TEMPERATURES WERE MUCH ABOVE NORMAL WITH
THE DAILY DEPARTURE 10-18 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. OCTOBER ALSO
STARTED OUT ON THE DRY SIDE...WITH ONLY DAY OF MEASURABLE RAIN IN
THE FIRST 22 DAYS OF THE MONTH...AND THAT WAS ONLY 0.05 INCHES. THE
BULK OF THE RAIN FELL IN THE LAST WEEK.
