ANOTHER ROUND OF LIGHT SNOW...POSSIBLY MIXED WITH PATCHY FREEZING
DRIZZLE...WILL MOVE INTO THE NORTHLAND AFTER MIDNIGHT. MOST
LOCATIONS IN NORTHEAST MINNESOTA CAN EXPECT A DUSTING TO A HALF
INCH OF NEW SNOW OVERNIGHT...WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS OF AN INCH OR TWO
IN THE INTERNATIONAL FALLS TO ELY REGION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

SEVERAL ROUNDS OF ACCUMULATING SNOW ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT
THROUGH CHRISTMAS EVE...WITH A POTENTIAL TO IMPACT THE HOLIDAY
TRAVEL PERIOD. TEMPERATURES WILL ALSO BE IN THE 30S DURING THIS
TIME...SO A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE. THERE REMAINS
UNCERTAINTY ON THE TRACK AND STRENGTH OF THE STORM. THE SNOWFALL
FORECAST WILL CONTINUE TO BE REFINED THROUGH THE WEEKEND.

AT THIS TIME...THE GREATEST POTENTIAL FOR SNOWFALL TOTALS IN
EXCESS OF 6 INCHES IS ACROSS THE ACROSS THE MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD
REGION...MAINLY ALONG THE HIGHER TERRAIN INLAND FROM LAKE
SUPERIOR.
