...Slippery road conditions overnight and gusty winds near Lake

Snow across west and north central Upper Michigan will diminish
overnight. However, after 1 to 3 inches of snow accumulation with
locally up to 4 inches, untreated roads will be slippery
overnight. The greatest snow accumulations will be over the higher
terrain. If traveling overnight, slow down and allow extra time
to reach your destination.

Strong and gusty north winds will also occur near the Lake
Superior shore and over the Keweenaw Peninsula overnight. Wind
gusts of 35 to 45 mph are expected, especially at exposed
locations along Lake Superior. Farther inland from Lake Superior,
wind gusts will approach 30 mph at times. The strong winds could
break small tree limbs and may cause difficult travel conditions
along roads exposed to winds off Lake Superior.
