This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A combination of low humidity and northwest winds gusting around 30
MPH will lead to near critical fire weather conditions across Rooks,
Osborne, and Mitchell counties Kansas on Saturday.

Another round of near critical fire danger is possible in north-
central Kansas on Sunday with strong southerly winds and low
humidity values.

Light freezing drizzle is possible across parts of the area late
Sunday night into Monday morning. The best chances are along and
east of Highway 281. Very little accumulation is expected, but it
may lead to slick roads for the Monday morning commute.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
