EAST CENTRAL KANSAS...SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

GUSTY SOUTH WINDS ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON MAY RESULT IN A FEW
HOURS OF VERY HIGH GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER ACROSS PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL KANSAS...MAINLY ACROSS RUSSELL AND BARTON COUNTIES.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS CENTRAL
KANSAS SATURDAY NIGHT. STRONG OR SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT
EXPECTED.

CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE ON SUNDAY...ESPECIALLY
ACROSS THE FLINT HILLS AND SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS...WHERE A FEW
SEVERE STORMS WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WILL BE
POSSIBLE...IN THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

PERIODIC CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF
THE AREA NEXT WEEK...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR STRONG AND SEVERE
STORMS. THE GREATEST RISK FOR SEVERE STORMS APPEARS TO BE
TUESDAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT. PLEASE CHECK LATER FORECASTS AND
