...Additional light snow accumulations expected through late
morning across the western Nebraska Sandhills and portions of the
eastern Nebraska Panhandle...

Look for moderate snowfall to continue across the central and
western Nebraska sandhills through late morning. Some localized
areas of heavy snowfall are possible as well, especially along the
highway 2 corridor from Hyannis to Anselmo and along highway 92
from Arthur to Stapleton. Visibilities will range from around a
quarter mile to one mile at times. Even with the moderate to heavy
snowfall rates, additional snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches
are expected due to warm ground conditions and temperatures which
are expected to warm into the middle to upper 30s by late
morning. Persons traveling, especially across the eastern Nebraska
panhandle and western sandhills should be prepared for some
slushy spots on roadways.
